Johnny Hazell (Director)
I have always loved cooking since I was a child helping my mother prepare our family dinners.
My first catering job was working at a local bakery on the weekends. After leaving school I went on to catering college and quickly established myself on the Bristol restaurant scene.
I later spent 4 years working around France, during which time I met my wife Romany. We specialised in cooking for families on holiday and especially children’s food that had to be healthy and nutritious.
After returning to England I went to work for Chris Wicks as head chef of Bells Diner. I spent the next 4 years running the kitchen there. The restaurant has won numerous awards over the last few years including best restaurant in the south west in the Observer food monthly awards for the last 3 and was rated top in Bristol’s good food guide.
Myself and Gareth have previously run many successful kitchens together. I am really excited that I am able to use the experience I have gained and have the opportunity to pass my love and passion for food on to our children. I now have a young family of my own and know just how important it is for them to eat a balanced, healthy and exciting diet.
